The sun is finally shining and it feels like ther start of summer. The state visit today by the president of the United Arab Emirates was a great success with thousands lining the streets to watch the procession in the Royal carriage to Windsro Castle hosted by The Queen and Prince Philip. The carriage was joined by a Guard of Honour from Household Division including the Welsh Guards.
As they arrived at the Castle the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh inspected the Troops before a State Luncheon to be held in the afternoon.
